What’s in the name?
The name Ferntree Landscapes takes its inspiration from the unique and ancient Dicksonia genus of tree fern found across the temperate rainforests of Australia and New Zealand. The purchase of one such plant heralded a deep fascination with plants and horticulture for years to come.
Ferntree Landscape’s associated spiral image and design of an unfurling shoot with fronds finds its influence in the Maori symbol, koru and is symbolic of new life, growth, strength and peace.
